Hi Elaine, it's Caryn Pietrzak. Just checking in with an update on Molly. She is doing great. Hard to get a good picture of her because she doesn't sit still, Lol. She seems to have adjusted nicely and is slowly starting to interact with our other shihtzus.  She is eating well and slept through the night last night. She took really well to her overnight crate and goes straight to sleep. She doesn't like her daytime play pen area as much, lol. If it were up to  her, she'd be running around free all day. She's such a drama queen when she does have to spend time in her puppy playpen, Lol. Now she is in rambunctious puppy mode, lol. And I was able to snap these pics. We are really enjoying her and will get you some more pics when we can, as I said, she is always on the move! Lol
Molly is doing awesome and we are enjoying her so much. My Dad passed away in December and it's been tough on everyone. Molly is just such a joy and brings a smile to everyone's face. I think a little puppy therapy is just what we needed. Her birthday is actually the day after my Dad passed away. 
Molly has been sleeping through the night, wakes me up about 5am, her crate is by my bedroom,I take her to her playpen area, she does what she has to , gets a little breakfast and goes back to bed until everyone else has to get up. 
Did you train her at all to use the pee-pee pads because she uses them about 99 percent of the time
The other dogs are slowly getting used to her but run away when she goes into her crazy puppy mode. 
She has her first vet appointment on Friday. Will let you know how big that she has gotten.

Dear Elaine,

The shih tzu puppy I picked up from you on October 17th has been a joy! We named him Finnick Odair and feel blessed to have him. Your documentation on transition and what to expect has been excellent; I often refer to your website for basic info. He was neutered yesterday at almost six months, weighing in at 5.9 pounds. I'm sending you the vet's spay/neuter certificate and have included on the document his puppy # and band color.

How are you? I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! So sorry it's been awhile since i updated you about Maya.
 Well, she is the sweetest! She loves to cuddle and she's definitely a lap dog. But I tell ya, she can also be a tiger, fearless! She is very protective of us. She would also go after big dogs!😱 She thinks she's 80 lbs when she's only 8 lbs.🙄😂
She is about 2 1/2 years old now. She loves apples, chicken and chicken liver. She enjoys her stroller, the car ride and loves long drive.

Hi Elaine!
I hope all is well by you and that your move went without a hitch. I just wanted to send you an update on JB (now 18 months) and Buffy (8 months). JB is literally the sweetest angel, he's still pretty tiny (made it to 6 lbs) and is very much a mommy's boy, much to my delight hahah. Buffy is a wild one! She's surpassed her big brother in size and is definitely the boss of the two, but he puts up a good fight. It's been truly magical to see them together and see how far they've come since they first met back in December. Maybe I'm just a sappy dog mom, but I think they really love their companionship and it definitely helps us know that when we can't always be with them they have each other. Here's some pictures for you to see how they've grown. As always, thank you so much for helping bring these puppy angels into our lives, I don't know where we'd be without them!

​I just wanted to reach out to share some images of my perfect pup I got from you! We named him Ryeno (pronounced like the animal) and goes by Rye for short. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing he is. He LOVES people and has the biggest personality and heart. He is 2 years old now, 8 pounds, beyond spoiled and so so happy☺️

We call him a celebrity because everywhere he goes you would think he is famous. Anyone who sees him is obsessed with him! 

His favorite place in the world is the beach. LBI specifically, where he is extremely well known!

Hello, 
Hope all is well & that you and your family been safe during the pandemic. I wanted to provide you with an long overdue update on one of the shih tzu’s I got from you in December 2017. 
This is Sadie, she turned 4 on the 7th of October. She’s been possibly the biggest joy in my life and keeps me going through a rough time. She’s perfectly healthy. Last time I updated you when she was one years old, she wasn’t interested in toys only slippers. Well that has changed, she gets fixated on one toy at a time and plays with that until she gets bored. Besides her toy, she loves playing fetch and playing with hair brushes. Our only downside is that she doesn’t want to play with other dogs no matter how much we go to the dog park. She’ll just jump on the bench besides me and ignore every dog there so we’re still working on that. I have attached a couple of recent pictures of her.

Maya is such a smart and super loving pup. She's a character too! She loves to play, loves the car ride and she is very protective of us. She is our guard pup. She barks and growls at strangers when they go near our car which is hilarious!

​I wanted to check in with you to let you know Louie is so awesome! My granddaughters just left here and when he sees them he goes crazy. That cute little tail is wiggling so hard and he doesn't know which one to run to first.  My cat finally came down yesterday and is trying to be friends.  He's eating well and loves going out in the yard to play and poop (sometimes).  We take him for rides and he would rather sit in my husband's lap than in his car seat! My vet and groomer already met Louie and are in love with him.  I hope all is well with you!!!

Happy National Puppy Day

​I wanted to reach out and let you know what a delight JB has been and how well he is coming along. From day one, he has been nothing short of sweet and smart. He's 4 months tomorrow and 3.4 pounds at his last vet visit on 2/27. He loves to eat, so he's probably a little rounder today hahah. He's been fully vaccinated and enjoying the spring-like weather, running around the yard and taking walks around the block. He went outside for the bathroom yesterday for the first time so that's was exciting for us and he's learned how to walk up and down our back 2 steps in the yard. It's amazing watching him grow, he is so smart. Our beloved Moshi (13 year old shih-tzu) sadly moved on about 3 weeks from JB's arrival but I'm so grateful they got to spend that time together and get to know each other. It was the first time in 13 years I ever saw Moshi cuddle with another dog so it was pretty special for me. He has been such a blessing while grieving and just in general, I truly feel so lucky to have found him. Here's a few pictures for you to see how he's progressed. Thank you so much for helping bring so much joy into our home and lives. Has Malibu Dreamer had pups in a while? I think she would make just stunning pups,  and JB will need a pal. Let me know.

Yes her name is Raven. I took her to Carol’s grooming in Sayville. They did great job grooming her.

She has been a constant source of joy for my kids and I.

I just filled out the survey page and certainly hope you get the pics I uploaded of our Erma Sunshine. 
You is doing amazing and definitely has settled in very comfortably.
She loved the snow!! and now is enjoying little walks around the yard.  Erma is still doing very well in her potty run area— although she has had a few accidents which is to be expected but does wake me up at night to go outside to potty. 
She has been such a wonderful blessings in our lives- especially for my husband who has early dementia.  It is so nice to see them cuddle together.

​It’s Leo! I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to let you know I’m doing great in my new home! I’m getting along extremely well with my big brothers, we all love to play together especially tug a war! I discovered I like to watch TV and snuggle! I also learned how to drink out of a water bowl and go potty on a wee wee pad. I even know my own name now, commands like come here and how to take treats. I currently weigh 3.15 lbs and I’m wearing a size XS now in clothes. Mommy says I’m becoming a big boy so fast!

Just an update for Maya. Sorry it took awhile. Maya is 3months already! Where did the time go! She's doing well, very sweet, playful and very spoiled!😁Very content and loves her mini bed. She loves to be held and also loves to run outside with Koji(our other shih tzu boy).She's a little picky on food sometimes but she both love wet and dry food.

Soki Baby from Tiffney and Red May Liter! I wanted to give you an update on our precious baby girl. 3 days home already and she adjusted just perfectly. She loves her daddy and loves crawling up his shoulders to nap! She's amazing and absolutely adorable. She's such a good girl. The 4 hour drive back to Albany on Friday (7/3/20), she was quiet and slept. She plays and takes naps throughout the day. She pees and poops on her potty pads too! I was amazed. She eats too! Her transition was flawless. She wakes me up at 3am to pee and then back to bed til 6am to poop! I've been following your food schedule. She skips one meal sometimes but I need to monitor. She's absolutely perfect.

I wanted to give you an update on Suki, who is 19 weeks old. She's still a small baby and is starting to look like red.
 She's absolutely a delight. She loves us, and she protects me, especially at night. She loves to cuddle up next to us, loves laying in the sun, rolling on her belly to be rubbed and plays hard at night. We have our own thing when I kiss her and she tries to bite me haha. She loves to sniff the floor and eat things that she shouldn't (like her pooie!). Haha, we love her and we don't know how I lived without her! Like I said before, it was meant to be. Our hearts are filled with love and chaos haha. She's beautiful, she's a model and the vet loves her.
 I wanted to share about a few things, she became hypoglycemic and had two episodes of symptoms. It became a scare to me, because I've been feeding the health extension syrup and food. We had a bile acid test, which came out negative. She's healthy but they're concerned about the food I provide her. I think the health extension food appears to be quality food but the vet upstate doesn't trust it since the website doesn't clearly state if they have an veterinarian on staff and if they perform food trials. The vet LOVES suki. It's so cute.

Hey Elaine!
Figured I’d give you a little update on miss lulu. She is such a smart sweet girl! She loves everyone who comes to see her and definitely enjoys her belly rubs And playing! She has learned how to sit and lay down very quickly! She has graduated to staying in the den( puppy proofed Ofcourse) during the day And my mom comes at lunch time. She is excellent with the wee wee pad and has no accidents! She lets me know at night when she is tired and wants to go upstairs into her crate! She sleeps 6-7 hours straight through no problem! I can’t imagine my days without her!!

I haven’t updated you about Oliver in a while and thought you’d like to see him! Oliver turned 8 on April 9th. He is honestly the best thing in my life! He brings so much happiness to my family and I. He is so funny, so outgoing and so sweet. My brother just had a baby and he is so gentle with her! He is still as wild and fun as he was the day we picked him up. He loves going to our summer home in the Poconos and is always trying to chase and play with the animals. He is the best and we just love him so much! Thank you for letting us become his family all of those years ago!
